A documentary of the Trulli Clan: The 'Trulli Clan' is a group of eight snowboarders from Finland that have gone from little kids dreaming of becoming professional snowboarders to achieving that goal and becoming some of the best in the world. The 'Trulli Clan' was established in 1998 while at summer camp in Stryn Norway, when the members were between the ages of 13-16 years old. This will be the story of the Trulli Clan, their comradery and love for the sport of snowboarding, as well as the phenomenon of Finnish snowboarding and the amazing group of talented riders such a small country with no mountains has produced. The majority of the film has been shot in Finland, and the 2005 riding season will provide the back drop for additional interviews, antics and accomplishments. The message is to encourage people to pursue their passion, and to snowboard for the right reason… fun. The 'Trulli Clan' represents why we all started snowboarding in the first place, and even though they have reached a certain level of success and money and fame is being thrown at them, they keep it fun and real. The film will stay true to the classic documentary style. A narrator will keep the feel of the movie informative but entertaining. Key interviews with 'Trulli Clan' members, family, other Finnish pro snowboarders, and industry kingpins will tell the story. The result will be a unique cross-cultural perspective on snowboarding and the friendship it forms. Music will play a dramatic roll in the mood of the film. The soundtrack will consist of diverse tracks ranging from smooth classic Finnish music to heavy rock and roll, Hip-hop, Punk and even Techno. Format: 16mm, 8mm, and mini dv.
